This 1/2'' lead free temperature and pressure test plug is color coded white, and is made from EPDM for hot and cold water service with a temperature range of negative 40 deg F to 275 deg F (negative 40 deg C to 135 deg C). The plug allows for quick and efficient temporary insertion of a recorder or gauge for temperature or pressure readings eliminating the need to leave them in line. The system does not need to be shut down for temperature and pressure checks.
